Another tire thread

I searched and searched but couldn't find an answer to this. I have the stock 17" wheels and tires on my 2005 right now with no lift. I use the truck for work so lifting it just isn't practical for me. I want to keep the stock 17" wheels but add taller tires. I like tall skinny tires. I have been looking and all I can come up with is the 34-10.50-17 SS LTB's. However, they are a bias ply tire. I have never owned a bias ply tire. Will they work well on a truck that sees lots of highway miles? Please give me some suggestions on other tires that I might not have seen. I would like 34 or 35 inch tires and the skinnier the better. Thanks.

I wouldn't waste my money on bias ply tires. If you drive alot on the highway, the radials will offer better wear and more miles.

35's will fit just fine, no lift needed. 315/70/17 would be best.

I know the height would fit, but the they are a little wide for the stock rim, don't you think? I don't know for sure as I've heard so many conflicting reports. I just like the look of the tall skinny tires better.

I have 35 12.50 18 Toyo Open Country M/Ts on the stock rims (18x8) and looks and works great. I just like having more rubber on the road as well - very heavy trucks.
