horn stopped working?

horn stopped working?

yeah a few days ago i went to hit the horn and well nothing....

i checked the voltages coming to the horn, nothing

any ideas and is there a fuse on this line?

Do you have cruise, if so check it to see if it working also? If not, then probably the clock spring behind the steering wheel is bad, the air bag, horn, and cruise wires run thru it.

The fuse is in the big box in the engine compartment. Mine went the other day too. Fuse was blown. PLUS the horns just stoppped working. Replaced with some funky, cheap, cheesy sounding ones from AutoZone. All's well now.

im lucky i have airbags on my truck lol i dont have cruse or anything haha

where is the fuse in the engine compartment fusebox? i went to look but i had no idea where to start

and where is this spring?

The clock spring is not really a spring, it is a brush set-up that allows eceltrical connections from the steering wheel to the wiring harness in the column, it allows for the rotation.
