Ford Factory Navigation audio system 2007
Just got my wife a Mountaineer with the factory nav... Also seems Sirius-ready.
Couple of questions:
Are there software upgrades to the navigation? Say in a year, some of the maps are in need of updating...
The DVD says "connect error- see dealer". Does this mean I can install something aftermarket that can hook into the unit? In otherwords, the DVD player is in there, I just have to hook up a monitor to watch?
How can i install a rear camera monitor on this? Is it possible?

I believe avic411's forum would have the info on modifying the radio and who made it. Once you have the manufacture, you can find out how to update it either by modifying a USB cable or with an update disc.
