Need some door speaker help please...

I have a 1997 F150 standard cab, and I am looking to put some aftermarket speakers in my doors. What size speaker is that, so i can install one that will fit without any mods. Thanks for your help, as always, you folks are awesome!!

Just to verify, it's the new body style right? I remember there was an option similar to what was done with the heritage body in 2004. The older one is probably going to use a more familiar size. When I did my 89 F150 (I suspect the old body to have the same openings), a 5.25" was supposed to fit and I had to do some trimming to get a 6.5" to fit.

I believe it's the old body style? Rounded off front end...not sure what you mean, but every other 97 I see is shaped just like mine...it's a standard cab.

The old body style looks like the 96 F150 and the 97 F250/350, where as the new body looks like the 98-2003 body style trucks. I just saw it's a mod motor so it's most likely a new body style and the newer 5x7/5x8 size as opposed to the older 6x9.
