Can I Add Monitors To My Nav System?
Just bought myself a 2012 F-350 Lariat (YAY For Me!!) and it has the Navigation stereo installed. I was told it plays DVD's. I was wanting to add monitors into the headrest for the rear passengers. Question is, Can I do this? Is there a video output on the rear of the factory radio? And,,,, How do I get it to play DVD's while driving? Thanks!!!

You can't add monitors that'll tie into the head unit, there's no video out. You can add dvd headrests, but they'll be separate from the head unit. I was going to go this route but decided to get a couple of iPads for the kids for half the price.
The only way to play DVD's on the factory unit is to have the truck in Park and have the parking brake set. Or, you can do what alot have done (myself included), purchase a Sync Lockpick, plug it in, set it up, and voila, dvd in motion (plus you can kick on the rear view camera at anytime in any gear). The installation is very easy, and it's plug and play...
Congrats on the truck by the way!

LOL Actually 62K for the truck (fully loaded lariat) and another 10k in the lift and tires too. But yes, lol I am looking to pinch the pennies in other places. Really enjoying the truck too. The Nav system is really good sounding for stock too. Need to add just a bit more low end and I will be set.
