later pat,
maybe you need to double up on the anti-gel. or drive the gas rig. i forgot that chris works for a ford dealer. power/service is a good brand of anti-gel.
evening all, was on interstate and them diesel trucks were sitting on side of roads, got the stang home but had so much ice on it couldn't get into it,lol, and stopped and tried to get the truck going and same deal ice, man you guys got some ice before the snow, and its a 77 not a 79,can't believe a dealer auction wouldn't know the difference between a 77 and 79 and listed it as a 79, checked serial numbers on bill of sale, 77,lol
I had to use a telehandler to deliver a scissor lift at work this morning. It was gelled to start with so after I got it running I let it idle for a good 45 minutes. I got 50 yards out of the driveway and it gelled again. I was able to let it sit at WOT and clear up. I backed up to the drive and it did it again. Again, WOT and some time cleared it up. I put some #1 fuel in it and parked it in the shop over lunch break. After lunch I was successful. The best part was, I had to go get the scissor lift about an hour later because it wasn't what the customer wanted.
Freaking Nebraska winter anyway......I showed -17 F on the drive to work this morning.
I would love to get an older truck like that and put a Cummings in it...
Did you ask that guy to sign up here?
No i didnt ask him, it was long before i knew of FTE
