Low fuel light

i was curious, how many gallons are left in the tank before the low fuel light kicks on a 97? trying to calculate my MPG

About 4 gallons. The correct way to calculate MPG is to first fill your tank and reset your trip odometer. Drive till it's almost empty and fill it again. Take the mileage on the trip odometer and divide it by the number of gallons it took to fill the tank the second time. That's your MPG.

rite i was just curious how many gallons were still left when the lite comes on cause thats when im gonna reset it. so far its looking like from F to when the lite comes on 250ish miles, and thats 90% stop and go driving

yeah thats what im guessing, cause the expy has a 30gal tank right? not sure if the 22" rims are effecting the MPG in a good or bad way or anything at all , they have 33" OD tire??
