Long bed crew cab with a 38 Gal tank. I find when
I get a warning in the display and it says 50 miles
to empty and I full up right then I put in 33 gallons.
I know this dose not directly answer you question.
I for one will not let it go below 40 miles to empty
too much risk of fuel starvation if the pickup in the tank
is having a bad day.

I don't mean to high jack but I got a question:
Is it a good idea to run it down to the light to see if that warning still works?
I been filling up at 1/4 tank and it takes 28 to 34 gallons to fill...
I believe it's been harpooon-ed due to the fact I can fill it all the plumb to the top.
Light hasn't come on yet.
