The Check gage light on my wife's Ex is not lighting up when the fuel level is low. I have checked about everything. It lights up at startup, but not when the fuel is low. Has anyone else had this?
Thanks Dave
Actually, that is another way to make the driver aware of the low fuel. Read the owners manual and it'll tell you the Check Gauge light will come on when the fuel level is below a gallon....
For one yes I have read the manual. I set the float/switch so the light comes on earlier. She ran out of fuel on the hwy on Wed. At 1.10$/Lt here in Canada that works out as 4.40$ US/Gal. So some times she holds out, too long.
I realize it depends on driving style and vehicle maintenance but what are people gettin' for mileage after the 'Check Gage' light to indicate low fuel comes on?
LOL! I do like to bring back ol' threads although I didn't do it on purpose. I found it when I was doin' a search about the 'check gage' light and I didn't realize it hadn't been touched in 3 years.
