Here is a request: do any of you have the rubber grommet that plugs the hole where the interior dome light switch goes in the door frame? Mine were shot. Sy at Mid-Fifty said they were going to reproduce them but they haven;t yet and doubt if they will since they wouldn;t well many. If any you guys put door switches in and kept the rubber plugs give me a holler. I will pay for them including shipping. The picture below show how naked my truck looks without them!
What size is the hole? I just searched eBay and there's a couple of sellers with 3/4" rubber hole plugs. I just searched for "rubber hole plugs". If you're not looking for the exact factory made ones, just something close maybe these will work for you.
The switch that goes in that hole was used in a lot of different vehicles back then. I would think you could find old ones or nrew replacements someplace. I'm not sure if it is the rubber plugs or the switches you are looking for???

Dave, I am looking for the hole plugs. My truck is the standard cab, so it did not have the optional door switches for the interior light.
Bob, that is a good idea. this weekend I will measure the hole. I do hav emy old ones and I can measure them.
If you have a really good industrial hardware store close by, you should be able to buy new rubber hole plugs. I did for the extra tail light bracket holes on my back stake pockets. They should have some big enough to cover the wings on the holes.
Or, why not put a switch in there - just to fill up the hole?
