If any of you guys have the black rubber grommets that fill the hole in the door jamb where the dome light switch goes, I would like to buy a pair or just one if only one is good. No one reproduces them. Sy at Mid fifty said she would repop them years ago but must have forgotten about it or changed her mind. The 1953/56 truck 7/8" diameter dome lamp switch is the same as 1950/59 Ford Passenger Cars, 1955/60 Thunderbird (B9MF-13713-A).
I found the following in the 1949/59 Ford Passenger Car Parts Catalog:
Thanks to Number Dummy I now have the rubber grommets that fill the hole where the door jamb light switch is intended to go. Bill gave me the numbers of several dealers whose inventory showed they had some in stock.
I got some from Matt Plax Ford in Kendallville, IN. Now my holes are filled with NOS rubber parts!
