[quote=Dustball8504;6806591]It doesn't matter who writes the tunes or how hot it is, it can only take a beating for so long before it happens, stock trucks can even do it.

Very true, indeed. My question was in reference to the info I recently received. I was told by the tuner he 'softens' up the tune a bit for stock headbolt trucks, I assume to have the gasket hold up longer. That is why I was curious, as I just got the Xtreme Street tune myself.

I know I'll end up having to do them also eventually :soob: but at least the truck will run the way it should!
Good find on the studs, where were they?
Well guys I can get them for you guys without problem, BUT the deal didnt come out so good. They ended up costing me $437.47 And that was them not charging me for shipping. They can be bought on ebay for $400 shipped so I would go that route. I would have if I wasnt in a huge hurry. I paid the extra as I had to have them today, didnt have time to wait for shipping with the holiday and all.
When he shot me the price that was his price by mistake. He has to add 10% to keep the office manager and the powers that be, happy. Ah well I got them overnight so its all good.
Yeah full RETAIL on them is $530. There are several places that sell them for $499 (seems to be the average) but there is a guy on ebay that sells them for $385 + $15 shipping. Thats the cheapest I have ever seen them. But again, I needed them like NOW so a few extra bucks isnt a big deal. Ive wasted more money on less important things LOL
