ok i did a cylinder contribution test the other day after i THOUGHT the truck was warmed up but it definitely didn't seem to do the test correctly as it loped once then i checked for codes and had these stored.... not sure if they're actually from the test or not they could've been there from earlier when i was doing some quick highway runs
P1464
P0196
the P0196 is not on the list of powerstroke codes.
thanks for the first one and the second one, through some research, i found out means that the truck was not warmed up properly during the CCT test, tomorrow i gotta drive home from school (about 50 minutes of 90mph highway driving) so once i get home i'll try it again and hopefully it'll say i'm warmed up enough
wut kind of scanner did you use? most scanners tell you what the code means. i got the P1464 a bunch of times with my friend roy's super duty when we were doing a lot of Cyl. Cont. tests on it b/c the stage 2's he built didn't cooperate with us. he keeps his a/c on and mine doesn't work so i never turned his a/c off before starting the test. LoL.
wuts wrong with your truck for you to be doing a CCT on it?

nothing's wrong with it i just wanna see what happens when i do it haha i'm using a scangauge
ahh. got ya. LoL. i did that with mine when i had stock injectors. nothing wrong with the truck, just wanted to see wut would happen. i was, however, scared of the outcome b/c my injectors had 250,000 miles on them so i was scared it was going to tell me my injectors were toasted. LoL
