13's?

Do you think you can get into the 13s with stage 2's and 6.0 cooler and all the other supporting mods? If not what do you think it would run and what kind of number do you think it will throw?

I would think it would be possible. Traction would definitely be a big obstacle to overcome though.

i dont see why not, assuming the "supporting mods" are turbo, fuel system and oil system. throw a set of sticky tires on and i dont see why it cant happen. i think.... glasseater?... has time slips of very low 14's on a weak hpop. it may not be his but i think so.

ya, thirteens in a truck this heavy would require 500+ hp.
Dont forget the fully built trans on that list.
Twins would be a good way to get there as well...
also: head studs, and you'll be pushing into the girdle and rods danger zone...
que kenny loggins... lol

i know this thread is old but i just looked at this post... 13s will not require 500+hp at the weight of his truck, i'm not sure how much his truck weighs but with my weight it would only take roughly 430hp to get under 14, that's 6984 lbs as of last time i weighed at the track (sometimes you'll see me round to 6980 or 7000 if i'm feeling lazy)

you will be just fine with that hand shaker given you know how to shift it.
