For dave or anyone who has installed one,
my boost builder came in today. Whats the easiest way to get at the #37 pin wire or whatever it is? I think im gonna try pullin the bat. tomorrow. I unpluged it, but there still wasnt enough slack to get at the bottom side of the loom where the wire is located.

I didn't see where you corrected yourself clearly enough.

The 6.0L does not have a waste gate.

An increase in boost will almost always increase the cylinder pressure. The stock "TTY" (torque to yield) bolts do not ever recover their original strength after a spike in cylinder pressure. Spikes of overboost will stretch the head bolts. Folks w/ stock head bolts should go into this knowing the highly probable consequences IMO.

I apologies, not sure why I said wastegate... speed posting LOL

I agree with you 100% on the head bolts stretching but do not believe the the boost fooler on "normal" acceleration will cause a spike in boost pressure, large enough to stretch the bolts. Jamming the pedal to the floor from a dead stop with boost fooler can cause a spike in boost pressure and stretch head bolts. I would liek to think most of should already understand that.... user responsibility, not everyone has it... if you play you gotta pay!

Will this little $85 device get rid of the very annoying dead spot when attempting to accelerate from a dead stop to merge into traffic?

From what the tune writers have said specifically. When a sct file is written, fuel is written into the fuel table to spool the turbo faster. This is why you see a lot of black smoke if you accel hard. For a box tuner the boost builder/ fooler might help. The best way I've read (I wish I could afford to test all these toys but I lack a unlimited bank account) to kill the dead spot is to get the ficm tuned. This can be done on a stock or tuned truck.
