Most guys search from the outside using Google.

Now wait a minute...
I just tried "390 crank" and it worked like a champ!

I tried that last year and the internal search engine ignored the quotation marks.
And before it'd ignore numbers like "2100" too.

Hmmm...
Danggit,
I'll have to change my mind and stop bad mouthing "website search engines"?

Alvin, again I absolutely love your post

77, I never meant to which hunt people or cut people up. I wont make people feel bad for making "dumb" "bad" comments, and what not. Just the people who truly know they dont know the answer and continue to give that crappy advice ahahaha and you said you're 19 which is funny because I am 19 as well, and I have proven many times my lack of knowledge (ask FMC400 about carbs aaha and alvin about vacuum's and me, but I am learning.)

why do we have to make sure every thing posted is correct? i know that im on the internet, and i may get advice from a 14 year old who wants to be 30 years old. he may not know what he's taking about. but thats why i check the info given to me, or im just careful when im following others advice so i dont get in to something too deep. i dont need the mods to replace my abilty to think for myself. and i really dont want it either.

You mean like that? ;)

Funny, but I hardly ever find anything annoying, here or anywhere. :)

Maybe it isn't about the annoying person or posts it's more about
"the annoyed" than "the annoyer"? Huh? Maybe? :)

BTW, I fixed the clips on my "DC" weather strips so that they snapped in and
held tight. Wonder if DC or anyone else would find the information useful? :)

Naaaa... :/
I'm too annoying! ;)

The forum is what it is. Many times a question evolves into brain storming and that is what makes it good since there is more than one way to approach a problem. Sometimes incorrect info is given, but if one is concerned about that, then they should take their rig to a qualified mechanic. Anyone that suggests jury-rigging a problem gets completely blown-off by me. Fix it once and fix it right! Many of you seem self taught and quite innovative. Passing knowlege on keeps our trucks alive. Start thinking of better ways to keep our rigs on the road given gas prices and pollution regulation.

You know i posted about jeep wheels once on here and after i got my answer it morphed into a metric tool thread. I dont care about that. And i dont think that its useless info. If your smart you will wait until a few people chime in to see if they have a unamious answer. Most people on here have enough knowledge being a true mechanic, shadetree mechanic, or trying to learn mechanic to know there limitations. Ive never scene a thread about removing the seat from your truck and sitting on a bucket to save weight thread. When people have been on a thread a while they not only think of some people as internet buddies but friends as well. So theres alittle joshin inbetween posts. Opinions are like s a**ho**s. Everyones got em.

Yeah I know... you think that idea stinks. :/ LOL :)

The stupid people out there that "the speech limiters" are so afraid
of doing-something-dumb, might just be stupid enough to think of
the dumb idea and not know it was a dumb idea until it got posted
and "run down".

BTDT myself actually!

Wasn't truck stuff, but no kidding BTDT.

...been the "idiot" that needed protecting from himself! LOL :)

Alvin the dumbest guy on FTE and dumb enough to be in AZ too :/
