Yeah, that is the same old Ivan.
The 205 actually does not have to come apart for this mod, but the PTO cover does have to be removed. This only has to be removed because this is where you will find the roll pin and small freeze plug that provides access to the roll pin itself.
After removing the retainer spring and ball bearing for shift detents, the roll pin comes out, and the shift rail will pull out.
This is where things get critical. Everyone drops the shift fork, and while it looks difficult to fix, it can be done, and there is access through the PTO cover to re-install it.
Never fear, it will not fall free from the collar that it rides on, but wil require a little finesse to install. This is close to impossible to do if the case is still in the truck.
I say almost because it can be done, but this adds to the amount of effort and levels of frustration.
Again, this is a super clean upgrade, and while not too usefull for too many 4x's, it still provides some level of WOW, when we are out on the trail.
