Can you make your own? It is not that hard to do. One lever is for 2wd to 4wd engagement, and the other is high and low. The only thing you will gain by going to a twin stick 203, is 2wd low range, and the cool points for having multiple sticks poking through the tunnel.
I hear you there about the factory stuff, and the limited tools.
Is you case still full time?
I think I have an aftermarket shifter for a 203 that came off of my highboy. I only use the front half of the case with a 205 behind it. If you are not too far away, you can have it. I will never use it again. I am in So. CA.
Yea, the case is still full time. I really appreciate the offer on the shifter, but I live in Medford,Or. If you're willing to ship, I can send you a Money order.
Tell you what I will do. PM me with some contact info, and I will send some pics to you. If you decide you want it, I will send it to you. It is not that so heavy that it is gonna break the bank. If it looks like it will work, we can work something out. It is no big deal. Would rather you look to see if it will work, or might have enough parts to rebuild yours. This one was pretty tight, and is still super clean.
Let me know, I can dig it out of the pile of parts at at the shop. The guys crticize me for hanging on to take off parts, but sometimes they are good to hang on to.
