Nope. I'm stuck on the History Channel right now. Can't find my remote, and I'm too lazy to get up and change the channel. Which is sad when you see where my TV is compared to my desk.
LOL Joe. You got up and moved further to take that pic than what you'd have to move to change the channel on the TV.
Thats great set up I am going to have to modify right there. Now there is never too much history channel.

Well, you guys are exciting this evening...Joe Jeremy has a good point. lol.
So I ran across this picture, thought all you gearheads would enjoy.
Most of you probably heard about the bad train derailment that happened here in Denver this past winter, where a coal train collided with a light rail transit train.
Found this pic in the Denver Post and Randy showed me his placement in this mess of a picture. This is what he does for a living!

Agreed. I'm a very visual person (as are most men) and definitely like some lights on.
Mark, if you're ever in my neck of the woods, feel free to get yourself a beer from my fridge. You're always welcome, my friend.
That's my plan. Kind of holding out for one to come out of a wrecked truck, as I can probably get it for free from my buddy at the dealership. With wintertime getting ready to set in and the Farmers Almanac telling us we've got a lot of precipitation coming this winter, there should be a few trucks in the body shop during the coming months.
Dang Cris, that sucks. That's news nobody likes to hear. What kind of cancer is it? If you need anything, let me know.
Game's on in the background as I'm getting stuff doen around the house. AZ is looking better in the 2nd quarter, but that 1st quarter was horrible. First two drives were 3 and out.
Mark- The offer is the same here in Az, feel free to get your own beer out of the fridge!!!
The cancer is in his voicebox, from what I understand the doctors don't usually like to operate since you run such a huge risk of losing the ability to speak after. We will know more Wednesday when he sees another doctor. We are all trying to stay positive right now. Thanks for the offer!
I turned it off midway through the firsts and let the kids watch Dancing With the Stars, I have it back on now. I am suprised it is only 24-20, figured the niners would have a much bigger lead my now. Anytime we think the cards will do anything good, they usually crap all over themselves.

Well, sort of. At that time, Randy was the Manager Maintenance Mechanical I for Union Pacific, Denver terminal. He managed a group of about 50 car toads, but the biggest part of his job was to direct and manage derailment recovery. So he was working with the BNSF manager there as you see in that pic to try and investigate the cause of the derailment. (BNSF I believe owns that piece of track, so ALL The guys were there for that one).
He worked 25 hours straight on that particular derailment.
He now works as the Sup of Cars for a class 2 for a different RR.
