Yes different folk will take the same words two opposite ways. Brent being from the left coast and I also being from the left coast you would think we would be more on the same wave length. Because things certainly vary in different geographical areas. I remember when I first moved to NY and started making new friends, if I were invited over on a Sunday, let's say to watch a football game. I would think nothing of just getting up from in front of the TV and helping myself to a beer. The new friend was shocked. He said nothing to me, but he did to his wife who passed it on to my wife a few days later. Well, that is how we did things in California, so that is how I assumed it would be Nationwide. Well it's not, and you would think I would be smarter by now. But it may cut down on my posting if I think I am eggshells all of the time. Can't win for losing I guess.

I am very sorry to hear about all the family members everyone has lost to cancer, there is nothing worse than losing a loved one. I have lost quit a few myself and just found out my father in law has cancer on Friday. We should know more about what is planned for him by Wednesday.

Seeing how as you're the first to ask how my morning is going since I got back from the doctor. I have several types of suspected skin cancer in several different spots. No big deal, mostly left coast lots of sunshine construction a good part of my life half naked in California and Arizona I am not surprised. Nothing alarming I don't think. Will know more in 5 days.
I am losing weight, getting treatments for the poor circulation in my legs, and the nurses told me today to check in with my Dr cause my BP has been running a bit high...
Woke up to a small layer of SNOW this morning! I LOVE IT

Cris, do you remember me saying last week that I am actually afraid of women, or at the very least intimidated by them. Not physically of course, but mentally. I once had a girlfriend tell me my largest personality flaw was I was far too sensitive. I truly worry about what people think of me as a man. I dress like I just fell out of a laundry basket. My wife would not let me pick out any of my own clothes because I have zero taste. I don't know, nor do I care what matches. Even when I was borderline wealthy, I dressed like a bum cuz I got a kick out of it. I walked into a Ford dealership in old holey shorts and tee shirt and flip-flops one night on my way to dinner and a half hour later drove out in a brand new $25,000.00 Club Wagon with all the bells and whistles back in 1993. I paid for it with my AX Platinum card, walked in looking like a vagrant and drove out with all of the salesman's mouths hanging open. All except for the one that took a gamble on me................LOL

Agreed. I'm a very visual person (as are most men) and definitely like some lights on.
Mark, if you're ever in my neck of the woods, feel free to get yourself a beer from my fridge. You're always welcome, my friend. 
That's my plan. Kind of holding out for one to come out of a wrecked truck, as I can probably get it for free from my buddy at the dealership. With wintertime getting ready to set in and the Farmers Almanac telling us we've got a lot of precipitation coming this winter, there should be a few trucks in the body shop during the coming months.
Dang Cris, that sucks. That's news nobody likes to hear. What kind of cancer is it? If you need anything, let me know.

But you've indicated you'd like to come to North Carolina, and several cool members live within 30 minutes of each other here, so at your first sign of frost bring that beautiful new toy here for us to admire, not to mention ride in.

I would to have loved to have seen the look on that salesmans face as you whipped out the credit card and bought a car

First real frost was last night. The positive side of that is I think I won't have to mow the yard anymore this year. I'm going to try and make it out to NC for a few days sometime within the next year. I've been out there several times and always enjoyed my time there. I don't see it happening anytime soon, but perhaps next spring or early summer I can arrange a long weekend out there.
