Installed a OEM remote starter kit, Silver, Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the programing instructions.

If you don't mind me asking how much did you give for your kit?

 

$70.00 for the PC and Silver module kit and $30.00 for the tach inverter, you need all three pieces for a Diesel, I also purchased a FD1 "T" harness alarm kit, You unplug the wire harness from the ign switch and plug in the T harness, it gives you about 8 inches of wire in which you can splice into.... instead of the factory wire harness .... anyway it was $20.00.

 

i was looking on a gold, ao which parts did you get? i have keyless entry and i have to get alarm with remote start and tach inverter.
where did you get the harness extention? and whats the part#

Was it very difficult to install and get working? I have been wanting a remote start on mine as well. Also, where did you buy the components you needed? What is the difference between silver and gold?

The T harness is made by Bulldog Seurity web site is bulldogsecurity.com.......The pig tails that come on the T harness are made for their security alarm system etc... I cut them all off to about 4" and spliced those into the Remote Start wires. It was fairly easy to hookup but not for the faint at heart. The silver kit comes with 2ea 4-button keys fobs and wiring bits and is used to add remote start to a OEM Remote Keyless Entery (RKE). The Gold adds the alarm bits. Reguardless you will need the PC32 (brain box) and the Silver or Gold kit and the tach module. I bought PC32 PN:2W7Z-19G36A-HA and Silver kit PN: 2W7Z-19G36A-EA from this guy on ebay "michiganvalueparts" I made him an offer and 7 days later the parts showed up etc... Be carefull when you buy these modules there are some older models out there .... if the part numbers start with 2W they are the new part numbers. I bought the tach module at FordPartsandAccessories.com

he didnt give you instruction on how to program it?

 

I don't know how it works yet becuse you have to program it 1st and untill FTX sent me the install instructions (above post)I didn't have the programing instructions.... the locks /alarm /start inhibit work like they are supposed to but I have to program the box to see the tach inverter etc... the available online wire diagrams did not include the programing instructions etc... I'll post on how it comes out and then I plan on doing a full write-up on the install and programing along with the install pdf etc..

cause FTX attached PDF is up to 2004 ,
and EOD Guy im getting the gold cause of alarm and remote start..
how long did it take you to install it?

'04 4X4..... I dwld'd the newest wire charts (up to '07) but the pdf file didn't have th 1st 39 pages (at least from what FTX attached) and that's where the programimg instructions are located..... I called the help line 1-800-fordkey or keyford whatever.... anyway the young man wasn't very much help "you probably fried the box .. man" he said I had to be a Stealer in order to use the dealer online charts help etc...

Took me about 2 hours to label all the wires on the RS32 harness double check all the color codes from the Ford wire diagram for the ing switch and match those to the T harness (the T harness wire colors have zero value for this install) so I physically matched the pins and marked the T harness wires to where they would match the RS32 wires. Took about 2 hours to unbolt the Fuse box, pop out the headlight switch, and disconnect the ing switch and place the RS32 box ruffly above the headlight switch and run the wires to the general location of where they ended up and make the connections. I'm in a hold pattern due to the programing instr.... I won't be able to complete it until Sun. PM me I'll send you the pdf file.

 

OK..... I installed a new in the pkg, RS32 with the Silver Modlue, I doubled checked all the connection before I hooked the batteries back up (04 Diesel)..... All the features work, lock, unlock, valet mode, start inhibit, panic alarm, locator But.... the $#^@ thing won't remote start when I press the unlock, then the start (within 3 sec) the horn beeps 4 times then nothing. I doubled checked the connection and nothing.... The park lights flash when the start key is pressed by itself. I can not get it to go into program mode.... Door open, foot on brake, key on, reset switch pressed..... should honk after 15 sec..... nothing. Thought it might be the neg trigger doorlock thing so I tried it with the door closed.... nothing. STUMPED!!! Any Ideas?
