Jay.... look at the ignition switch wires just below the steering column if one of them is cut in half and wires leading away from them, then look behind the fuse box, on the support bar, If you have a factory remote box it should be wire tied to that bar..... it's about 4" square and anout 1,1/2" tall with a sh^%$ ton of wires conin out of it

As it turns out, I don't have factory remote start. I have a model AM6 by AutoMate. I'm inquiring to them regarding obtaining new fobs and getting it programmed. Since I have an aftermarket system, has the factory system likely been disabled? It would have just been keyless entry, alarm, panic.

Hey EOD sorry it is sold but i do have a fd-1 tharness which is out of stock. I am gonna hold onto it until i get the remote start for the 07 i might use it. i am not sure though but if i dont would you like to buy?? i will let you know. The R.S. should be in next week.

If you have an after mkt sys you most probably do not have a factory remote start, just the lock, panic which by the way are common on ebay for 15.00 and are very easy to program to your truck, reguardless if you have the remote start or not

Hey guys started my remote start last night the module they sent was almost the same one as the pc-32 but this one is a little newer i guess a newer module for the 2007. anyway the T-harness i bought didnt fit it only fits the years 03-06 if anyone is interested PM me.
EOD- i am having trouble locating some wires and trouble understanding your rightup on the install. The wires i cannot find are (Driver Door Unlock Motor wich is RED/ORANGE and it is located above the parking brake i also cannot find the dome light and park lights wich are located rear of driver's door sill plate harness.) were is the sill plate harness can you point me in the right direction maybe some pics?? Also on your right up i understand most of it the O/R switch is the little black button that has two wires going to it?? Lastly what are all the option banks and how do i use them??? that is were i am lost. Thank you

I chose not to hook up the Driver door unlock, didn’t need it’s function, it is located in the rubber boot that goes between the body of the truck and the door. The boot covers all the wire for the locks, windows mirrors etc….. If you pull the boot off the truck side the Rd/Or wire is there.
The dome light wire is located under the door sill plate, you will have to remove the sill plate (it just pulls off) and the wire you are looking for is just about even with the rear of the front seat (in my write-up it is the last picture and has a piece of blue tape behind it)
The park light wire, I tapped into it behind the headlight switch (in my write-up it is the 5th picture and is one of the blue tap connectors).
The sill plate harness is located behind the driver’s side kick panel (in my write-up it is the 6th picture)
The O/R (override) is the little switch (mine had brown wires) but it is the only push button switch in the kit. (in my write-up it is the 1st picture)
The option bank is where I had the most trouble, in my write-up I explained it the best I could.

Remote Start Questions???
I have an 05 6.0 F-350 with power locks and keyless entry what do I need complete a OEM Ford remote start kit??? Lookin for Ford part numbers any and all parts needed to run remote start.... And approx. costs for parts...

ok i installed the module but i am poping a fuse in it i am poping fuse for the door lock and unlock i think it is a short somewere ill find it. anyway the starter is not starting i did the instructions eod guy gave i followed them to the t about 5 times but not working i am thinking since i have an 07 the programming steps are different. does anyone have the steps for an 07??
i am having the same issue as you eod guy 4 honks but i cannot program it. any0one please im befuttled

hey 1 snowcat i have a tharness for sale if you are interested helps out alot i couldnt use it b/c my harness on the 07 is different than the 03-06 years.
Found out that i dont have a short anywere it is the pc module i unplugged everything and shook the module areound and there is something loose in there making noise and i guess when it hits something it is making my horn beep, lights go on, and sometimes pop the 15amp fuse for the door locks, it also makes the doors work intermitenly. i just hope ftepartsguy.com will return it and send me a new one i dont think there will be a problem he seems to be a cool guy. I will let you all know how it turns out.

Z, the PC module are the same for Gas and Diesel, if you are getting four honks, then it's telling you that you need to program the tach module (your's being built in). On the very last page, I sent you, is the bank that you need to be in. That's what took me so long to figure out, can you get it to honk more than 4 times by pressing the O/R switch a second time?
