Oh i agree i know for a fact that alot of our local stations here have the same fuel as eachother... But for some reason or another the Safeway stuff is crap... Oh well back to Valero

Yeah for me it is a measured difference.
Safeway B5 = lousy mileage.
Shell B-zero = a lot better mileage.

How do you get an elaphant into a grocerie bag?

You take the S out of safe and the F out of way!

...... There Is No F in way... HAHAHA

Like was mentioned earlier, its either a contaminant issue or an age issue. My reasons for not filling up at the grocery store stations is that they dont move the diesel very quickly. I'd bet you're getting old diesel.

the safeway around here moves diesel quickly imo. but it may be the reason my mpg went from 12 to 9. it could also be that we were mobbin around town in 140smoke and towing a boat through steep windy roads.

Now, that is just plain wrong. I just renewed, got the new shirt and a new replacement decal for the old girl. The original had just faded away. It was a pita getting it off the back glass.
