Thanks for filling me in on that one Peter! A little late its not like i talk to you five times a week or anything! Ya it was hard to resist the 3.80 a gallon at Safeway. But its getting down there at valero also. We also have USA stations here and their stuff is quality too. I think they are affiliated with BP. As for the dodge thing that twists my nipple!

ask around in the fueling checkstand with someone that knows: the Safeways are supposed to be running B-20. That might explain the smell and the lousy mileage. Supposed to be cheaper too, from what I heard.
Not a well known fact, was under the radar until I talked to one of the Transports.
After saying that,,, Here in Reno, Sacto and Gay Bay Safeway is straight chemicals masquerading as fuel.

Damn Nolan..bad week..sorry too hear that...i posted a while a go that some stations are selling poor fuel to keep prices down..one station here is doing that i was getting 13MPG..drive down the road to exxon and pay .05 more a gal..but i get 18 MPG with it..the sighns out front really draw the peaople in..most dont know the diffs but i do and i tell every one around here about it...

I have noticed a big drop in MPGs when I fill up at an exxon truck stop on the way to work comparied to other stations in the area. The last time I filled up there I only got 13 MPG but there price now 3.69 where everyone else is 3.99 to 4.09.
