I've searched the forums and cannot find any info on a Blower Motor Resistor for our trucks. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a new one? I know I could find one in a junk yard or whatnot but I am looking for new if possible. I've tried several parts stores....Napa, Glendale, Autozone, Advance, NPD, and the Rockauto site. Anyone have a idea on where to get one? Thanks.
Not entirely sure it's the resistor because the blower motor doesn't even run when switched to HI. I checked the fuse. I need to check to make sure power is getting to the switch and motor today. It was working when I bought the truck last February and worked this summer. I kept testing it because I knew it would get cold sooner or later and I'd need some heat. Wouldn't you know it...it gets cold and stops working. Just wanted to search for a resistor since they are obviously hard to find.

Thanks NumberDummy....I was thinking of PM'ing you but figured you would chime in. Always a life saver. I'm going to double check that I'm getting power and that the blower motor is good as well as my switch. Seems like power isn't getting to the switch or motor. I suspect this because even when on "HI" the blower doesn't turn on. Maybe a ground got messed up when i was installing the radio. I'll take a look. Thanks again. Nice to know I can find info for a part on here...with your help Bill. Thanks again.
It's probably a faulty switch. I know mine is going out, it will work if I slowly move the control but if I just go to the detent for the setting I want, it won't work, even on high.

I was afraid you'd say that, because now I have to type three different part numbers, because there are three different switches.
