I have a blower motor resistor for a 1968 f100 that I can't find anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find one?

 

With or without factory installed integral A/C?

 

Or the engineering numbers off that broken plate.

1968/72 F100/750 / No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

 

I concur. And I also tried 3 parts locators I use, D.C's catalog, and EBAY. None show up.

have you tried national parts depot? Someone else picked one up from there a few weeks back. Not sure if it was the same year though.

C8TZ-18591-A = I called a local picker, left a message asking if he had any. Am waiting for a call back.

E3TZ18591A (replaced C9AZ18591A) might be close enough to work. I found this pic on EBAY. Still available from Ford.

Are you sure the resistor is bad? Those bayonet contacts are pretty cruddy. Have you scratched in and taken an ohmeter reading?

 

Or you might be able to find one that looks similar and drill a new hole to make it fit. Did that once and never had any problems.
