Its true, thats how I got my current girlfriend was with a truck, it was a 96 F150 with a 4in lift among other things, but she says she like the 7.3 better....

NICE MOOSE! That's an animal I'd love to hunt someday, it's getting insane expensive to get up there to hunt anymore
I told you to come here. We can sit on the deck drink a few beers then shoot the deer at the ede of the woods......without leaving the deck.

Congrates on the test Jacob. On the turn you should have told him you drive and damn truck and we don't do those sissy turns. We instead we either jump the curb and/or ditch, or on certian occasions, we bump up the Tuner and power slide the *** end around. Then you could have said "here hold my beer and I'll show you".

Last time I went into the ditch it was neither..... was in my 1996 explorer 4.0 ( pre psd excursion). It was a crisp february morning..... where the road went from 4 lane from 2 lane I generally am at the back of a line,,, SOP is slide left and increase the throttle. I just got left, was being a little leery because the way the road was glistening, easing into the throttle. Next thing I know I am going 65 mph completely sideways and gaining on the guy in front of me. It never even squirmed before it went. The rest of the story is 90 one way, 270 the other, coming to a stop facing the road on a gravel driveway along the road. The heart rate raised a little, no need for coffee that morning.

From my one experience at Moose hunting you're not missing out on anything. You can get the same fix going to a cattle ranch and pick one out that looks like the proper size, shoot it and haul it home. The only challenge to Moose hunting is navigating the Tundra. It is like walking on giant mushrooms with water in between them.
All I can say is a little car with a hand operated e-brake makes quick work of a tight u-turn.
See if you can get your hands on a 5-speed WRX.... and have bail money sitting on the dresser at home...

Well, I ended up making the 180* and had so much rotation going we actually did a full 360. That was fun.
So far the only vehicles I haven't done a 4-wheel drift in are my trucks - 88 F350 CC Dually & Nyx. All the others got sideways long before drifting became the 'thing-to-do'
Best fun was in my 97 Outback (lifted with 10" of ground clearance! ) - Years ago back in MD we got hammered with 19" of snow in one day... with zero forewarning. I'm always up early, so I go out to play... Logan's in the back (my 90lb Akita). Find a big empty parking lot with 4" down already and I'm sliding all around. The thing is, with the 97, it had no LSDs like newer Outbacks. With all 4 windows down, radio pumping, and Logan almost spread-eagle in the back for stability, I got that car spinning in-place for about 20 revolutions!!! And yes, we both got out stumbling!!

Wow great pic! That is the end of your driveway? Niiice! I've seen a few moose here in Colorado. We don't have many, but there are still a few places in Colorado wild enough for those guys. Massive creatures. I snuck up on a few of 'em one time tryin to get it on - well, he was..she didn't seem the least bit interested. Drove right up to them on the quad.

I pick up girls in my truck all the time..that is, until I roll down my tinted windows and they realize I'm not a guy...and then they drive off all disappointed.

I would have shat myself. I do pretty well under stressful situations but my heart just about leaps out of my chest when that stuff happens. I have a heightened fight/flight response I guess. Eww..I hate black ice.

Speaking of this, and learning to drive...was one of my dad's finer driving lessons (and we all got this lesson) was to take us out to a big empty parking lot in the dead of winter when its slicker n' snot outside and scare the crap out of us...really teaches you how your vehicle handles in slick conditions, how to stop, and how not to overcorrect. I've saved myself MANY accidents because of this experience.

So glad you're liking it. "Ten Mile Road" is a great song. That's from Cory's new CD, "Vagrants & Kings". Also check out "Worth it". There's a hidden track at the end called "Just Along For The Ride". That's a really old Cory tune that he re-recorded for the new CD. It's all the buzz down here in Texas right now. It's on the radio a lot.
We will be haging out with Cory this Friday night. I'll let him know that he has a new fan in Colorado.

I like the beers on the deck part of this.......someday I'll take you up on that invite! But I'll stick to the deep woods chasing my critters the hard way, the thrill of the hunt is why I do it, not necessarily the kill. Arizona is the minority anymore......we have about 90% PUBLIC land for hunting, and the remainder is reservation. There is no such thing as "landowner tags" for hunting in this state and I like it that way. Makes it an even playing field and not a contest on who has the most money to buy up the good hunting areas. This concludes my Arizona hunting facts for the day Happy Hump day!

I have to admit I like Cory's stuff a lot. Feel free to let him know there's a red lifted Powerstroke drivin around CO somewhere playin his stuff.
I got the guns is a great song too...Still trying to sort through the list of songs and listen to all of them.
EVOs are actually a much better car, just harder to find. I've thought about buying a used WRX but all the knucklehead, Colin McRae-wannabe 1st owners just tend to abuse the heck out of them - it's one thing to work it hard, another to just thrash, and these kids don't have the driving skill to know the difference - for the right price though...
if i get a "beater WRX" i'll let you know, so if you're in CO you can borrow it.

Yeah I knew you might bring that up. THOSE like me too....
Funny though, I've had more lipsticks hit on me than butches....
I ran into this girl on the lightrail (Denver's train transit system) one time, sit down next to me and start up a conversation. She was beautiful, very nice, intelligent. I didn't think anything of it until she outright propositioned me and asked me if I'd go home with her. Thats one of the few times in my life I was at a loss for words. My stop came up and I just sorta said "I gotta go" and ran off the train. lol.
