Connecting Rod? ouch if so! Or push rod? smaller ouch.

Holy crap, that will do it. Piston not moving far enough to make compression to ignite the fuel, that will spew white smoke. But what I wanna know is how did you find that. Did you install the injectors and not suck out the oil enought and hydrolock it, then go back and suck it out?

compression test it was around 180 pounds the rest 400 pounds

Definately big ouch. If you don't mind me asking, what setup did you use to check compression. Tim and I have both talked about compression tools for our motor, but never really came up with a good answer. There are kits out there that said they would work on the PS, but I didn't buy one, and I don't think Tim did either.

I did end up getting one finally. I can't remember what brand it is though. It has a digital gauge and quite a few adapters.
Its this one (not from this place but this is the kit that I bought)
