Or you could just stick the stock injector in it for testing as well. Just though about that option

good news! i thought about that while walking to the barn and it ran ok with the stock injector. so i tore into the rebuilt stage 1. the part i dont understand is everyhting was seemed to be installed properly. i didnt take a chance and switched the poppets, kept the new nozzle springs and plunger, cleaned the tip. kept the vc's off and started her. and she runs good!!! the idle calmed down and it runs so much smoother through the rpms. thank you for all your thoughts.

its good to put this prob to bed.
