2001 Headlight Switch Removal

I have a 2001 F150 SCrew and need to remove the headlight switch. Can someone PLEASE help me with the solution. Thanks Will

There are 3 silver spring type retainers that hold it on. One is on the left side of the switch, one is on the top on the right had third of the switch and the other is on the bottom in the middle. There might be a 4th on the right side, but if you release the first 3 with a small screw driver you should be able to get it out. Pull the inspection cover off the left portion of the dash and you should be able to see the left hand clip.

I thought you had to remove the **** and twist it a certain way to remove it?.. or maybe its different on a Screw?

I think that just applies to 97-99 models.

Here is a link........ It is actually a modification to the switch but it shows you how to take it out.
