[updated:LAST EDITED ON 20-Feb-02 AT 03:12 PM (EST)]Try and find the cause of the moisture. Most ford headlight housings are pretty easye to tak out...well at least my old Explorer and my new Expedition housings are pretty easy. Condensation can only lead to more trouble. Water in the headlamp will cause you to go through numerous bulbs. Depending on the amount of water in the housing..if ice forms inside, you could be at risk of paying for a whole new housing.... if it cracks or splits. Most of the time the condensation will get in throught the seams of the housing. I would remove the Housing, let it dry out, look for any cracks, maybe even run a bead of sealant around the seams of the housing. If all else fails...id go to a scrapyard and try and find a wrecked Escape and get you new housing there...better than paying Ford for a new one.
