If the direct clutch accumulator valve is stuck it will have a very harsh 2-3 shift.

Remove the accumulator valve body and check the small valve at the bottom of each bore.

Valve 56 to be more specific.

you should be able to get some movement by hand out of the valves, take the clip out(circled in blue) and remove the springs and valve to check for issues.

Thank you c00n I just ordered my new one today. Get it tomorrow and then I will inspect the modified one to see if it is egged out.

Had to order stupid salvage yards up here in Idaho wont part them out if they are a good tranny or good engine or anything like that. Aggrevating if they would just let me get some parts I would have my IC installed already also. Wasnt that bad though $123.76 or something like that. Sometimes I guess you pay for mistakes when you dont know what you are really doing.
