Yes any IDM from 94.5 to 03 from a 7.3 will work

Its probably just not enough to make it seem like it firing. For ether not to fire it would have to mean there is not compression on all 8 cylinders. that is extremely unlikely.

oh... and sorry i did not get a chance to do anything more then order a new idm today... a fuel truck hauling 5000 gallons of diesel fuel wrecked in front of my house... very wild it flipped... and dumped all up and down the road not the road looks like a beach... lol it it sand about 6 inches deep...

lol when it first happened i thought about going down there with a shop vac and sucking it up... lol man free fuel for life... lol but yea i wish i would have knew a way to get it and filter it out and i would have been down there getting every last drop.. lol

thanks tj thanks coon and everybody else who has helped... i am about 100 percent now that i know what the prob is... the idm is almost full of water.. have not got it running yet but it will be tomarr... the new idm is gonna be here... thanx guys if it was not for you all i would have had to pay a mechanic and pay for a new idm... and sorry to the one guy that said check the idm for water and i so quickly over ruled it..

well the idm i got from flea bay was bad but now i went and got a idm out of a 02 for free and it is 20 more volts... lol the idm i got from flea bay only had m truck running on 4 cylinders... very bad... lol
