I would not pull the VC's yet. You can test the wiring with an ohm meter
Glow Plug Replacement and Relay Swap

I would pull the VC connectors and look for burned pins like Joe said earlier. But everytime I have seen harness issues there is a code that follows it.

HPOP system seems fine. it wouldn't be building those pressures if there was an issue. Its either fuel or electrical now.

ICP should be fine. the pressures are good though it is interesting that 1280 keeps popping up. Check cranking fuel pressure again just for fun.

Also just to double check watch for Tach movement and WTS light.

if memory serves me tonight the 1280 is icp out of range? if that is the right code then it is setting because he has 2500 psi while cranking, that is not good. the only reason i can thinkof to have that kind of pressure while cranking is a blcokage in the drain of the ipr

2500 psi while cranking is the problem in my opinion, where where you measuring the oil pressure at?

1280 is ICP out of range Low
1281 is ICP out of range high
1282 is excessive ICP pressures

I think the pcm keeps command higher and higher ICP until the truck starts.
