I might be also looking at the relay that powers the IDM....


Maybe look & see if there is water in the IDM as well....

i switched all relays aroung inside my fuse box... and i do not think i have water in my idm...

the breeze, start a new topic for your concern to avoid confusion in this one, but at any rate, make sure you have low pressure oil. if not then you wont be able to sustain the high pressure system.



tj, thakns for the refresher...lol that right there says we have 2 issues, first you should not have 2000 psi on cranking and second, IF you do then the pcm shouldnt throw a low icp pressure code.

I think its time for a valve cover to come off and while cranking see if the injectors are squirting oil. If they are squirting oil you have a fuel delivery issue and if they are not squirting you have an electrical/IDM/PCM issue

well tomarr is the big day the vcs are coming off... do i need two ppl to look for the oil squirting or will i be able to see it going everywhere... i hope it goes everywhere... lol

you really need 2 people to see it as it flows....or not..... and to see if they are all flowing oil relativly equally

i had one that fried the idm beacuse of a bad wiring harness going to the injector pressure regulator. the 2 wires touched and smoked the idm. fixed the wiring harness and new idm and fired right up. if the tach moves while cranking its probly the idm his did the thing where it would fire up for a second then die. idms can be had from ebay for 200 bucks.

ok now guys i need help with the no start prob... i am getting my starter rebuilt tomarr. and i think my prob did not fix itself.. lol i think after work tomarr i am going to pull the vcs...

ok i pulled the vcs and the injectors are not squirting oil... so what electrically should i check tomarr??? or what should i replace???

Swap in a known good IDM, also just to recap you do have tach movement and a WTS light?

yea i have tach movement and i also have a wts light and i have a brand new starter on it now so it is turning over fine...
