our best drivers are the ones over 55 yrd old. Their families are used to them being away, and that's their way of life. the younger one's want to party and socialize, or their wifes want them home. Our driver's that run BC, or ON make from $60,000 to over $100,000 a year. More than I make

WOW that's good money Grant, I would rather have a 55 yr old driver in my truck........most school bus drivers are well over 55

Putting family before work I can understand, (not always the best example in this, but I see the value in it), putting partying and socializing before work I do not understand. I'll be keeping my HotShot business part-time and "recreational" until my kids are older and either able to fend for themselves and/or are moved on with their own lives and responsibilities. At that point, I can pack up the wife and pooches and hit the road full time. Possibly by that time I'll be running a full size highway tractor also...
