That`s a tuff one Sherm.
My dog Molly liked to wander afew months after I got her as an 18 month old in March 2012, by June she wandered so bad that I had to keep her chained when she wasn`t in the house or when I could keep a close eye on her. She stopped the wandering in Dec......till yesterday when she wandered again to my son`s place half a mile away.
She`s a happy mild mannered dog, sweet, gentle with all animals including my cats and great in the house now that she`s stopped chewing my shoes. She`s a keeper but with a challenge.

you're telling me it was a tough one... It was poor timing on my part really, and I'm feeling terribly about taking him back. Almost to the point where I'm tempted to go back and get him and give it a real effort... I wish I was able to be at home more to monitor him and his progress...

I took one 7 month old dog back to the SPCA and ended up bring her back, she turned out to one of my best ever pups but it took alot of work for over a yr before she managed to settle down. The one I have now is a real handful too but still a very good young dog, we`ve really bonded so now it`s too late to turn back now.
