Hope your weather is better than our`s Gerry, the power was out this morning so not morning coffee till it came back on late this afternoon.
In total we got about 30 cm of the wet, white junk, freezing rain and ice pellets so it`ll be a few days before this area is back to normal. We got a bit too much of the wet sticky snow to light the burn pit, almost 30 cms, hopefully in a day or so I can get a good burn. http://globalnews.ca/news/1962200/sp...b2e4795fd04a1c
It seems that a lot of the common sense has gone out the window Sherm, can`t stop progress tho.
I took the quad out today, a bit weird seeing that wet, sticky snow sticking to the tires then flying off all in all directions.
While I admire owls, hawks and other birds of pray I dislike magpies and crows.
Bummer on Jordan`s broken nose Grant, hopefully it heals quickly and without any problems.
Morris, that's gross to have 30 cms this time of year. It was a dreary day here, but luckily no snow. Hoping we don't wake up to it tomorrow either...or until December 24th. Hope your snow goes away quick. They're forecasting high 20's for this week here.
Seems like the conditions of the accident are unknown to the public at this time, but regardless, 6 years old is 74 years to soon to die. Hopefully the 3 year old pulls through ok. Nothing is said about helmets or anything else.
Wife is starting to plant some vegetables in pans and planters in preparation for the garden an a month or so. Its quite interesting how one adapts and takes new interests in a new environment once success is seen. Last year she really didn't have much heart in the garden until she started harvesting and seen the fruits of her efforts. When we lived in town I had brought up the idea of a garden a few times but she had 0 interest in the idea. Now on the acreage, she sees the potential and benefit of being able to grow your own produce. Next year it'll be time to raise our own beef too.
Have a great day guys!!! Only 5 days till Friday!!!

I hear ya Gerry. My wife said the same thing Saturday evening, after she saw what I had done all day. She said "Why did you do all that today? It could have waited" then on Sunday, it was "Why don't you do this, or do that?". Can't win.
