I haven't did final additition yet on costs, but when I was budgeting, I was figuring about 60g savings by doing so much work myself. I did everything except plumbing/heating, electrical rough in (hung fixtures myself), and mudding/taping. It was a lot of work for one guy (majority of the time, had a helper occasionally) but I'm an ambitious chap and got it done...lol

Spent the first night here last night. Felt pretty cool I guess...lol. When my head hit the pillow I couldn't really tell the difference...haha

Well around here ppl drown every winter, mainly booze or stupidity is involved.....

Many times booze is involved in skidoo accidents, same as with the lack of seat belt use, things that some peeps just don`t get it.

It`s cold so the rain here keeps freezing onto the roads, it`s nasty stuff.

The only reason they cancel the school buses is when theres freezing rain, thats the worst......

At times travel has not been recommended on our provincial highways due to freezing rain this winter.
An up date on our weather, it`s snowing cats and dogs now!
