Customers trannies, I'm a licensed tranny man since 1980 & I got my Class A interprovincial ticket, you could probly do a C6 yourself, they really aren't complicated.......whats the C6 doing that you dont like, G

Tho it maybe fairly simple it`s one of the many things I wouldn`t want to mess with it. It`s just a used one I have laying around that I don`t know the history of that I would use if and when I ever put a 390 in my 53 M100.

I always take mine to Trevor`s Transmission for rebuilding and I haven`t had any problems or an overly large repair bills. The last C6 with a total rebuild was about $1,000 with them doing the R/R.

You need what I'm going to end up getting... a DIY movie from "Bad Shoe Productions". Check them out Morris, the guy that does the videos knows his ****, and his videos are very trustworthy.

Make sure you've actually got a C6 tranny first of all. The pan will look like so:
All you need to know is what kind of C6 the tranny is (bellhousing). Check your C6 with this picture:
Once you've got the video and know what kind of C6 you have, order parts... and DIY!

I may have to check out this Trevor guy... once my C6 gets a rebuild from me, I may want to get my FMX rebuilt as well just to keep it.
