just to let you know .. the Indian motor cycle has a chain on the rear ..just like we have on our trucks ..and the threat of one coming lose will keep you warm knowing it will flail your butt before you know your in trouble...I have the same tire chain from a volkswagen on my old harley for winter riding ..

I have never been to Canada...I would like to sometime. I was in the U.S. Navy and I feel like I have to cross a large body of water to get to a different country. I still gotta get over that!

A few days ago, I put 4 quarters in a soda machine. the last one kept kicking out on me. i finally took a good look at it...It was a Canadian quarter! Really?
It wouldn't take it? That's BS...Why is the Canadian quarter not acceptable to the soda machine...I protested and went to the water faucet

In Victoria ..we generally ride year round ..Snow is a big deal ..cause we only get it for a couple of days ..a week at the most ..temp's are seldom lower then 40 ..we are spoiled here....and Jeff your on the Mainland .. drive north for a bit .. after you get past the border twits ..we have some real nice people hear..and the body of water ..we have a boat system called ferry's ..for less then a hunderd bucks you can drive on ..have a meal watch Killer whales on the ride over ..about an hour and 40 minutes ..and be stranded on the best part of Canada...Vancouver Island but don't tell anyone ..cause we have some neet old iron here too ..

It will be another 4 years before the child support payments stop coming out of my paychecks...I will not be able to cross the border till then..

Not quite as bad as you have it Morris. Sitting at -19 where it has been all day. Finally stopped snowing. For the most part the snow was pretty fine. Although this afternoon it was snowing like it was 10* warmer. Big flakes.
