Thanks Dean, I like the good grip on snow and icy roads but for my low usage Ranger they would be abit too pricey. I normally put on only about 2-3,000 kms yearly. What size did you put on the Freestar?
I put 16" on it Morris. By the Way Morris, can't put a price on saftey!! and beleive me, My wife and I feel safer it the van with these tires!! we also run these year around that is why they call them all weather.

I hear you, even if one looks just at the cost of a $700 deductible never mind worse consequences.
With these is the traction/stopping characteristics on glare ice really great?
Nothing here yet on my farm Gerry.
I`m off to take apart that pesky brake drum of the L8000 which we`ve had nothing but trouble with. Tomorrow I`ll get another new replacement hopping that it`s finally an actual round one instead of an egg shape which the last two have been....
Sure was a ncie day out today, temperature wise. Also sure is making alot of ice everywhere!.
I cant remember in my 32 years on this earth, every being able to workoutside with a light coat on, damn near in the middle of january. It got up to plus 8 at my farm!
top of the morning to ya Gerry...out to shovel snow are ya?
I've got torn feelings about our mild winter so far. On one hand I'd like to be sledding in 3 ft of snow, but on the other hand, its nice to not have to bundle up to go outside, nice to not have to plug the vehicle in the garage, nice that animals and livestock will be getting a break from the usual -40's... Working in construction, its nice that a person can still enjoy working through the winter instead of trying to survive in the cold... Definately more pro's than cons to the mild weather. I don't know why we can't have it like they do back east. Mild but lots of snow.
I like some aspects of it, and dislike some aspects about it.
Ive found since I no longer work in the oil patch, I dont care as much if it gets cold or not. I would like snow. I won't whine and complain when it gets to be minus ten for this time of the year either though.
I sure do like being able to get things done outside. For once Im actually out of outside things to do, that I would be able to do at this time of the year.
