When I was a kid, my dad ran a Firestone store and would pay me 2 bits a tire to stud them. I could do between 4 and 6 tires an hour. I was only 14 at the time and it was big money but hard on the hands holding that studding gun for hours. I really miss being a kid

I've never used studed tires although there are very many that do. They really like the difference they make.

Crazy weather Morris, I drove a truck with studs last winter & they do help but the noise is too much

I hardly ever see studded tires around here tho I think they`re a good idea.
