I was going to work this week but with the heat I decided to take the rest of this week, too many other things to catch up on and next week is supposed to be alot cooler. The AC does work ok but with all that glass around the cab it`s like trying to cool down a green house.
Im an education student, I actually go no where near where you are, i dont think anyways!
Lol, no you go no where near where I work. And I go no where near where you work. Our department doesn't really deal a whole lot with you guys unless we need someone to pick on at a beer night! Hahaha just kidding.
I highly doubt I'll ever see you here on Campus unless I get the time to hang around Place Reil for some food. I hear we have a Harvey's here on campus now!
Why can't they just build these things outside of the engineering building? It'd be so much easier for me to get to!!!
I think I have bought a bagel once at the timy ho's on campus and thats about it. I dont even really know where most places are except the education building, had a few classes in the arts building, then I know where the gym is, and thats about it haha.
How come your going to school up here this year Aaron? Finally realizing that Saskatoon rocks and Regina... well... doesnt?

I've actually been up here for school for a while now. This is my fourth year of university here in Saskatoon. I just usually do everything in Regina because that's where my rents are... and well... they need me more than they're willing to admit.
Saskatoon does rock for a few small reasons:
a) better pub crawls
b) younger crowd
c) lots of single eager ladies my age
d) the university is rated #3 in all of Canada for engineering
e) it's the furthest possible distance I was willing to travel to be away from home, so I could still spend summers there.
Reason e) is because my parents JUST went through a lengthly 2 year divorce period in their lives. I believe it will all be said and done sometime around christmas this year. It's been hard on both of them, and even harder on me.. trying not to take sides and really not caring... I'm far enough away that I can stay out of their BS with each other and yet close enough to go back to the place I call "home".
If there are a few things I can hate about Saskatoon, they'd be:
a) Terrible design of roads, bridges and the entire city... the layout is just awful compared to Regina. I honestly think the river ****s with everything.
b) With terrible roads come terrible drivers. I've had more close-calls here in Saskatoon in the four years I've been here... on my motorcycle... than my entire life in Regina (driving or not).
c) Everyone seems a bit on-edge or arrogant compared to Regina. I don't know if it's the young age of the city or not, but it's just the vibe I get. Take that with a grain of salt.

Agreed. Something like 9-11 doesn't ever have to happen again. It may sound terrible, but when you really think about it... it's a very important day in history and a turning-point for our planet.
