No Fargo projects for me Morris. Just hauled it for a guy I do lots of work for. A friend of his passed away and left it to him.
Morning Fellas. Windy and chilly out there. Supposed to smarten up tomorrow, then back to the seasonal normal weather.
Happy Friday, and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!
That`s a relief Sherm.
The weather is about to get even more ''seasonal'', don`t look now but from Sunday on it`s rain turning to snow into next week.

It was 7-8°C here today but the wind killed what could have been a really nice fall day.

Morning everyone! I hope everyone's enjoying their weekend so far. We finally got new neighbours this week. They are so much nicer than our old neighbours . Its a young couple with a little baby and they have a boxer named molly. Our neighbour made an opening in our fence because their dog kept jumping into our yard to play with our dogs so this just makes things easier for them to run and play. We had to buy a bark collar for our little dog, its not that he barks a lot but its that his bark is so annoying. Weather has been in the 0 to -10 range this past week and today isn't any better being -2 outside.

Took a road trip last weekend. F350 got 24mpg going with a slight tail wind, 17mpg return with a head wind and towing a trailer with a fargo truck on it. Those are hand calculated numbers. I love this super duty. Really considering putting a lift on it now. Looking at the 6" BDS system. Seems to be the best bang for the buck. There's a guy in town running a 6" BDS kit and 37" rubber on a 2011. Its a smoking truck!!
Have a great day guys...only one more in the week!!!
I actually just got off night shift Friday morning. That's pretty good fuel mileage! Best I've gotten in my truck was 22.3mpg and that's with a dpf delete, tune and cold air intake! Don't do the BDS Sherwin, spend the extra dough and get a Carli Suspension system!! It'll ride 10 times better and their 4.5" lift is actually about 5-5.5" of lift so you can still run 37" tall tires. I would love to see a truck with a BDS lift kit, or any other brand of lift for that matter, keep up with these trucks in the dirt!
Beauty of a day today. Got the walls all standing on the addition. Sheet them tomorrow, then decide if I want to wait for manufactured trusses or build my own.
Randy, while those Carli suspensions and other pricey suspensions are probably better built than others, the odds that my trucks (especially the F350) will ever see that kind of terrain is slim to none. I have a BDS 6" lift on my cummins and it seems to work quite well. I think they're a good bang for your buck. Fox shocks are a nice upgrade available with the BDS kit also. BDS also has a lifetime guarantee on all their hard parts to the original purchaser which I respect. Perhaps others have that also. In any event, if I lift my F350, it will be purely for cosmetic reasons......lol...
Morning all...looks like its shaping up to be another beautiful day. Temps aren't the greatest but the precipitation is staying away. I'll get the walls on the addition sheeted today.
