E4OD compatibility?

Not sure about the E4OD but you can take a ZF off a 460 and mate it to a 7.3. The only difference being the extra starter holes on the 460 bell housing and the gear ratios being different. The E4OD and the ZF bell housings are identical so I can't see why it isn't possible...unless there's a different torque or crankshaft pilot, etc.
