Air bag light blinks!!!

Thanks! Before I tear out the whole dash, is it an easy replace for a simple man? I guess I can always live without the light on if the airbags still work...

I was just reading this and learned something new about the blinking airbag light. Anyway 1997 Expedition code 32 which from the other symptoms, no horn or cruise, I have figured it is the clock spring. My question is since my Expedition has a navigator steering column, will it be the same clock spring or not?

The PAD switch doesn't require the dash to be torn out.

When the airbag light is on, the airbag system is OFFLINE. That means they will NOT work in the event of an accident in which they should have deployed.
