2009 3.5 V6 Turbo/Twin Force?
[QUOTE=hsfbfan;6255896]
Yea I was thinking a New truck should be abe to tow. But Thanks for clearing that up.
Note: The non-turbo 4.2 should be able to out tow any small turbo motor no problem.
Yea the (2.4 eco boost) svo mustang was a real tow monster.
Everyone know's that small turbo motor's are great for low rpm trucks.[/quote
That's not the purpose of these engines. These engines are for MPG's exclusively. The 4.2L it will replace was not designed to be a tow monster either.

Umm.. Forced induction has come a long ways since your Daddy's Turbo Engine.
Look at GM's Supercharged 3.8l. Plenty o low end grunt.
It wouldn't be hard to tune a forced induction motor for truck duty.

Yea the 3.8l is a good example of Modern Towing engine, I hear thats why G.M dumped the 8.1 in the H.D 2500. A motorhome with a 3.8l would be a joy to drive.
