Probably not with a stock block. But yes, W based motors go out that far.

Google "427W.." and you'll get all kinds of stories.

Why do that when you could turn a 351m into a 434 stroker, lol.

Stroking a stock 351W block is fairly easy, just need to keep the power level to 600hp or lower. Anything over that and you'll grenade the block. A more popular version is to stroke it to 408. Slap some AFR 225s or TFS Fast as Cast heads on it you'll have all the power you need. Check out FordStrokers.com 331-347-393-408-418-427 stroker kits and ford parts., ask for Woody, and he can set you up with everything from a do-it-yourself kit, to a turn key motor. His customer service is second to none, and no one beats his quality. He only does Fords, and he knows his stuff.

If the OP had one of those wheezers, that would be the road to go down. But he said "W" in the OP you see.....

Because then you'd have a boat anchor with no oil pressure that wouldn't hold a candle to a big inch windsor. Yes I know they can be made to perform and last with enough money but is it really worth it? In my opinion. NO.

A very cheap stroker is a 351w with stock rods, 302 pistons and a 393 crank. You can get a crank for $200. You can build a 393w cheaper than a 383 sbc.
