if i clear out two of my four cats on my truck will i notice a louder noise?

Not if you keep your muffler. You might hear some noise if you have to smog it.

It will be louder than it is (assuming you don't have the stock muffler), but it will still be far from loud. I gutted all 4 of mine, and it's still pretty tame with a Flowmaster...

If you gut two of them they will only be loud for a minute.....
and the other two will probably never bother you again for fear of being gutted also.

Since I switched to 2 high flows vs 4 stock, I notice more sound with an otherwise stock exhaust.

I have flowtech shorty smog headers and flowmaster 40 series dual and if I gut to of them it wont be any louder?
